This City of London Bookmark features a stylised detail from an artwork for a book jacket by Peter Roberson (1907 - 1989).

Born in Oxford UK, Roberson was employed at Clarendon Press for 11 years where he mostly drew maps & designed some book jackets.

The London Transport Museum holds a vast treasury of the specialised & illuminating works he created as a visualiser, illustrator, copy writer & poster designer for London Transport 1948-1978.
