An iconic New Zealand image, the silver fern symbol comes from the New Zealand fern – Cyathea Dealbata

(Ponga is the Maori name).

Its' unfurling frond symbolizes strength, growth and new beginnings.

Made from white porcelain, this small bowl features an upper semi-gloss clear glaze with flax bush decal and an earthy unglazed underside.

These make great gifts for many occasions. They look amazing on platters!  Or on a dresser for those precious gathered items.
