Hirudoid cream 40 g bruises scars

Hirudoid Cream is used for treating haematomas, softening of hard scars and inflamed veins. Hirudoid Cream improves the appearance of bruises, inhibits inflammation, relieves pain and tension in the afflicted region and shortens the duration of the problem.

Hirudoid Benefits:

  • Softens scars, reduces redness and results in a better cosmetic appearance of old and new scars.
  • Hirudoid increases elasticity of the scar tissue.
  • Reduces the healing time of bruises by up to 50%.
  • Hirudoid reduces the inflammation of superficial thrombophlebitis including Varicose Veins.
  • Hirudoid improves blood flow to the area.
  • Hirudoid is effective in treating swelling, sprains and minor injuries.

Hirudoid Cream Dosage and Administration:

Unless otherwise directed by a doctor, apply a 3 to 5 cm ribbon of Hirudoid Cream to the affected area ONCE or TWICE a day as required. Gently massage Hirudoid Cream into the skin until absorbed.

If the area being treated is extensive or particularly painful, spread Hirudoid Cream on it cautiously and cover with a dressing soaked with Hirudoid Cream. It is a good idea to massage Hirudoid Cream around the edge of the affected area.

For the loosening of hard scars, Hirudoid Cream should be massaged in firmly.

Hirudoid Cream Composition:

Heparinoid (Mucopolysaccharide Polysulfuric Acid Ester) Bovine 3mg/g

The active ingredient of Hirudoid is MPS (Mucopolysaccharide Polysulfuric Acid Ester) this is similar to the bodys naturally occurring mucoplysaccharides. The healing tendency of the skin relies on the presence of MPS in the tissue and the effectiveness of any cream depends on its absorption. Scientific studies have shown that MPS in Hirudoid penetrates the skin and is able to reach the dermal layers in effective concentrations.

Hirudoid Cream Precautions:

  • Keep Hirudoid Cream away from the eyes.
  • Do not apply Hirudoid Cream to bleeding areas or open sores.
  • If unexpected bleeding occurs you should consult your doctor.

Hirudoid Cream Adverse Reactions:

Very occasionally Hirudoid Cream will cause reddening of the skin in some patients. In this case treatment with Hirudoid Cream should be discontinued.
