Shelley Aldrich discovered a new wondrous world when she began painting in 2018 after leaving a career in business.

A self-taught illustrator, she finds the slow, complex process of developing a style mentally challenging in the best sort of way.  

Her work is often a colourful childlike version of reality, inspired by her family and nature.
