La La Land Our Lady of Guadalupe Hanging Ornament

According to legend, in 1531 Juan Diego experienced a vision of a young woman at a place called the Hill of Tepeyac, which later became part of Villa de Guadalupe, in a suburb of Mexico City.  Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe became a recognized symbol of Catholic Mexicans, and has become a unifying national symbol.  Now the shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe is the most visited Catholic pilgrimage destination in the world. 

This colourful decoration has been handmade from paper, foam & metallic string.
