The Great Wave off Kanagawa, also known as Hokusais wave,  is a woodblock print by Japanese artist Hokusai, created in late 1831 during the Edo period of Japanese history. The print depicts three boats moving through a storm-tossed sea, with a large wave forming a spiral in the centre and Mount Fuji visible in the background.

The print is Hokusais best-known work and the first in his series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, in which the use of Prussian blue revolutionized Japanese prints.

Museums and Galleries presents this beautiful eye-catching image under a clear crystal dome.

This paperweight is packaged in a sturdy lined box with bellyband, perfect for gifting.

  • Box: 110 x 110 x 58mm
  • Size: 80mm diameter crystal glass paperweight
