He had a highly original style which combined simplicity with sophistication.

The most well known of the two, an elegant pattern, comes from a detail from "Birds of Many Climes" by C.F.A. Voysey which can be found in the V&A (Victoria and Albert) archive. 

The second pattern brings fresh verve to a favourite print.
