Sea-gulls textile design is reproduced on this beautiful card from the Victoria & Albert range of  Museums & Galleries

Depicting stylized grey seagulls settled by the sea, Sea-gulls (London, 1891), is by C.F.A. Voysey (1857-1941), who was one of the most innovative Arts and Crafts movement designers.  It was produced at the time as both a woven textile & wallpaper.

An English architect and furniture and textile designer, his work was influential in Europe between 1890 and 1910 and he was a source of Art Nouveau inspiration.
