Cat Croxford is a landscape artist based in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, UK. She takes her inspiration from woodlands across the UK, exploring the stories that the woods reveal.

Her woodland scenes are painted in distinctive broken brushmarks, in this way she can interpret light and the seasons to create paintings that you feel you can step into.  The experience of the painting changes as you move closer to the surface of the canvas and back out again, akin to zooming into a pixelated image.
