Each of the eight cards features an illustration of a trio of owls, perched on a branch with their young feathers fluffed up and their eyes bright with personality.

The owls are covered in gorgeous feathers with combinations of cream, grey and brown colourings.

The owls are set against a deep blue night’s sky which is painted in a wonderful watercolour style and contrasts beautifully with the crisp white of the snow-covered forest floor.

Gold foil speckles litter the card, giving it a festive, luxury feel.

The illustration is depicted in soft tones with every individual brush stroke visible and is surrounded with gentle speckling which feature throughout Wrendale’s designs.

Inside the box are eight cards with the same festive illustration on them as the beautiful box.

The interior of the cards read ‘With Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year’ and they come with brown envelopes for sending. Wrendale Designs

This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters.

Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her.

Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
